So you might wonder how this works. I use Rhapsody. I pay like $12/month and then get to listen to pretty much any song I want. It is the freaking bomb. Well, I wanted to start tracking, rating, categorizing, and commenting on the music I listen to, so I've started this little project called AMP (Andy Music Project). I'm using Last.Fm to track my listens. I then access that data through their API. I've also written a separate desktop application that allows me to rate, categorize, comment on, and note great lyrics in songs. This is something I've wanted to do for years! This is super basic right now. Lots of cool stuff over the next 2 months. The project officially started October 25, 2008.
